The Colorado BioScience Association facilitates the growth of the industry in Colorado through advocacy, representation and service. CBSA supports the economic development of Colorado through the creation of a premier bioscience cluster within the state.

As a member of national organizations including the Biotechnology Industry Organization, CBSA forms important partnerships on a national level in pursuing these goals. In addition, CBSA is a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Research! America. Working within a single organization, Colorado’s bioscience industry is able to present a single voice on important policy matters at the state and federal levels. Members of the association work to develop positions on fiscal, regulatory, science, health care, and ethics issues which are conveyed with a single voice to decision-makers, including elected officials. Workforce

Ensuring a sufficient supply of skilled professionals is one of our top priorities. CBSA is working directly with the leadership of the State’s executive branch agencies to address policies on workforce issues. We are working with universities and community colleges to ensure a strong workforce is coming through the state’s educational pipeline.
