Ernst & Young LLP today announced the open nomination period for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Awards in the Rocky Mountain Region. The deadline for applications is March 19, 2010, with the awards ceremony scheduled for June 24, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver.

The ABRF Education Committee is sponsoring Satellite Workshop Education Awards to promote participation in the workshops at the annual meeting. These will be held on March 20th, 2010, in Sacramento, CA. one day prior to the annual ABRF meeting. Technical scientists working in core laboratories as well as students and postdoctoral fellows interested in pursuing a career in biotechnology are encouraged to apply. This award will cover the registration fee to one of the five workshops offered (see the ABRF site for full details), and up to $550 to reimburse travel and hotel costs.
