Healthcare Policy in the Courts: Summer 2024 Update
Healthcare Policy in the Courts: Summer 2024 Update
This webinar is part of Foley Hoag’s continuing series on federal litigation that will inform, and in some cases determine, the future of healthcare policy. Our panel of healthcare legal experts will discuss cases heard during the U.S. Supreme Court’s October 2023 term, as well as those before other federal courts.
The courts have issued or, by the end of June, are expected to issue opinions addressing:
- Litigation defining access to reproductive health care in the wake of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Dobbs
- The legality of the IRA’s Medicare Drug Price Negotiation program
- Challenges to the scope of the 340B program, including disputes over contract pharmacies.
- The future of HHS rulemaking authority and the Chevron Doctrine
- We will also provide an initial preview of cases in the pipeline for next year.
Our attorneys will explore the most pressing issues in these cases, the impacts of decisions on your business, and the potential legal questions the Courts may tackle next.
