This bioscience event is one of many “Re-ignite Our Economy” sessions that are a public-private collaboration formed in May 2020 to respond to economic impacts of the COVID-19 shutdowns and to rebuild the economy to replace lost jobs and gross regional product.

The collaboration has now begun a three-phase process: Discovery, Strategy, and Implementation with the goal of creating a regional economic strategy to guide recovery and enable the two counties to foster an economy stronger and better than pre-COVID 19.
