Awards Celebration: Toast Your Success

We will celebrate our community and honor the movers and shakers in our ecosystem with our prestigious awards in the beautiful Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.  This annual celebration highlights the spirit and drive of Colorado’s vibrant life sciences ecosystem, bringing together hundreds of leaders and innovators to applaud our successes and look ahead to the coming year.

Updated Dress Code: Cocktail or Business Attire

Go glam if you choose! Feel free to dress up in cocktail attire or choose business attire. Either way, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Keynote Speaker: Nick Santonastasso

CBSA is thrilled to welcome an extraordinary speaker and mental health advocate to keynote our 20th Annual Awards Celebration Presented by AGC Biologics.

Nick Santonastasso is an author, global speaker, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He has defied medical odds since his birth with a rare genetic condition, Hanhart Syndrome. He began inspiring people around the world with his story as a child, when he was featured on NBC’s TODAY Show at age 12.

Now on the international speaking circuit with Tony Robbins, Nick has dedicated his life to the study of psychology and human behavior, driven by his desire to help individuals realize their full potential. His personal experiences – including the loss of his brother – have propelled him to become an advocate for mental health, partnering with WeLevelUp rehab facilities to combat mental illness and substance abuse.

A force of nature in the realm of personal and professional development, Nick’s journey demonstrates inspiring fortitude and innovation. He has impacted the lives of more than one million people worldwide with his passion for empowering others, conducting live trainings on life and business psychology.

Nick’s keynote will be the highlight of an incredible celebration, toasting the achievements of Colorado’s life sciences community.

Emcee: Mike Huckman

Healthcare company strategic advisor, Global Practice Leader for Executive Communications at Real Chemistry,  BIO Board of Directors member, and former CNBC reporter, Mike Huckman, will serve as the emcee for CBSA’s 20th Annual Awards Celebration Presented by AGC Biologics.
Mike advises leading life sciences companies, from large-cap pharmaceuticals to startups. At CNBC, he reported on the financial markets and the economy as well as established a specialty in coverage of the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device sectors. He earned a reputation as a go-to journalist on breaking stories in the life sciences and for scoring dozens of exclusive interviews with CEOs and key opinion leaders. Before arriving at CNBC, Mike was a local TV news reporter for nearly 18 years.
