Join us for a virtual conversation with Sara Anderson, Sr Director of Oximetry and Wearables R&D for Patient Monitoring at Medtronic. Sara will discuss leading technology strategy, developing roadmaps in partnership with the business and leading a 40+ member R&D team. She will share her leadership journey and how curiosity fuels her and her career.

In this position, she built a strong team with deep domain expertise in oximetry while delivering world class organizational health scores. In addition, she holds R&D responsibility for products delivering >60% of Patient Monitoring’s revenue and has been technologically responsible for 3 key launches in the past year. Previously, Sara held roles of increasing responsibility in both Product Marketing and R&D, with medical device experience spanning across neural, cardiovascular, RF energy and non-invasive sensing.

Sara received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Minnesota. Sara enjoys being outdoors and traveling with her husband and two children.
