Lyndsey Linke, a CBSA Board of Directors member, is a trailblazing scientist, entrepreneur, and inventor dedicated to transforming the future of medicine. As the CEO and Co-Founder of SiVEC Biotechnologies, she leads groundbreaking advancements in engineered therapeutics, pioneering novel drug delivery solutions that push the boundaries of translational medicine. With more than 15 years of expertise in biologics, antivirals, and drug delivery systems, Dr. Linke has secured over $4 million in research funding and is the first-named inventor on 24 pending and 3 issued patents related to SiVEC’s innovative BactPac™ platform.

A recognized leader in biotech innovation, Lyndsey’s achievements have earned her top industry honors, including winning the 2022 Women in BIO Innovation Showcase and being named the 2022 Top Emerging Company at BIO International. She has also been celebrated as an Inspiring Female Founder, a testament to her role in shaping the future of biotech entrepreneurship.

Lyndsey holds a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Colorado State University. Her tenacity and competitive spirit extend beyond the lab—she is a former U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials qualifier and a nine-time U.S. Masters National Swimming Champion.

When she’s not driving biotech breakthroughs, Lyndsey can be found fly fishing around the world, diving with sharks, backpacking in the Colorado mountains, and exploring the great outdoors with her husband and their beloved Alaskan Malamute, June.
