Rocky Mountain Regulatory Affairs Society presents Simplifying Root Cause Analysis
Root cause analysis (RCA) is defined as a systemic approach to problem-solving that ultimately prevents issues from reoccurring and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Effective root cause determination is a critical tool in driving continuous improvement by identifying and addressing underlying problems. The challenge is that root cause analysis is notoriously difficult and unreliable.
In large part this is due to the fact that most people have limited RCA tools at their disposal.
This course will provide attendees with a fundamental background of root cause analysis, evaluate the common pitfalls when performing RCA, and establish foundation for developing effective and lasting root cause analysis skills.
