Transforming Healthcare: New Frontiers in Mental Health Treatment

Tuesday, Nov 1, 2022
5:00—7:00pm
CU Anschutz Medical Campus Research 2 Building, Krugman Hall, 2nd Floor 12700 E. 19th Ave.

Transforming Healthcare is a community lecture series that showcases the extraordinary medical advancements and scientific progress taking place at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Presented by Chancellor Donald M. Elliman, each lecture examines a different timely issue or provocative question in research and healthcare.

The fall 2022 lecture features the cutting-edge research of the CU Anschutz Department of Psychiatry. This invitation-only event offers a unique opportunity to learn about the discoveries that are transforming the mental health treatment landscape – from artificial intelligence technologies and digital apps, to new drugs and implantable brain devices.

Amid a nationwide mental health crisis, Colorado ranks among the worst states for access to treatment and services. Join us to learn how CU Anschutz is shifting this paradigm by putting groundbreaking new psychiatric treatments and tools directly in the hands of providers and patients to improve mental health for all.
