Monday, May 1, 2023
11:30am—1:00pm
Fitsimmons Innovation Community; Bioscience 3; 2115 N. Scranton St.; Aurora, CO 80045

Breathtaking Alpine passes, skiing, watchmaking, chocolate, fondue, Heidi, neutrality and, of course, Davos. These are some of the things that come to mind when one thinks of Switzerland. Less well known is the fact that the country has topped the Global Innovation Index for twelve years in a row.

Please join the Fitzsimons Innovation Community, Colorado BioScience Association, Manufacturer’s Edge, and representatives from Switzerland Innovation for a lunch to discuss the innovation ecosystem in Switzerland and the opportunities for life sciences and advanced manufacturing companies in Colorado.

Featured Participant: Sophie Cerny is the Deputy CEO at Switzerland Innovation, a nationwide ecosystem enabling international and domestic companies and world-leading Swiss universities to work together on the development of new marketable products and services. Furthermore, Sophie is a former tech entrepreneur and an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equality in entrepreneurship and science. She earned an MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law with distinction from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
