Colorado BioScience Association connects health innovators to investors during biennial event

Vail, Colo. – Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) welcomes investors and strategic partners from across the country and life science leaders from the mountain West to Vail for the 2019 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference (RMLIPC). The conference, kicking off this morning at the Vail Marriott, provides companies working on breakthrough health innovations the opportunity to pitch to VCs, strategic partners and angel investors.

Colorado BioScience Association leads the 6th Biennial Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference and collaborates with AZBio, Montana Bioscience Alliance, NMBio and BioUtah to identify companies that represent the best of the best in the Rocky Mountain Region. A panel of leading investors chose companies representing drug development, biotech, digital health and medtech to pitch to more than 40 investors and strategic partners.

Jennifer Jones Paton, President & CEO of CBSA, says:

“We are proud to highlight the work of health innovation leaders from the Rocky Mountains to investors and strategic partners from major financial hubs. This is an exclusive gathering designed to allow companies and investors to make and deepen connections. It provides companies from our region a collaborative environment to pursue new opportunities to access capital.”

More than 30 participating companies will present during morning and afternoon sessions. The conference format allows for partnering conversations and networking throughout the day.

Additionally, presenting companies and investors will hear from Johnson & Johnson’s Global Strategy and Digital Innovation Leader Dr. Emmanuel Fombu during a breakfast keynote on the convergence of digital technologies and healthcare. The emergence of health systems investment to accelerate innovation will be the topic at lunch, with panelists Dr. Garrett Vygantas of OSF Ventures, Dan Galles of Providence Ventures and Kimberly Muller of CU Healthcare Innovation during a lunchtime panel discussion.
