CBSA on COVID-19
By: Colorado BioScience Association Date: 03/13/2020
Businesses and organizations here in Colorado and around the world are all managing through the impact of COVID-19 on their business operations and personal lives. Our ecosystem’s work to drive health innovations makes us uniquely prepared to face this threat together.
I want to share our plans during this time. CBSA is committed to keeping our community and team safe and healthy while supporting your business needs, keeping our ecosystem connected, and offering opportunities for learning.
CBSA Meetings and Events: CBSA meetings and events scheduled through the end of March will move to digital formats using technology and collaboration tools. While we will promote our planned events scheduled in April and beyond, we will continue to heed expert guidance on when we can safely and confidently resume in-person engagements. We will keep you apprised of our plans.
CBSA Team: We are taking measures to protect the health of our team members. We want our team to remain productive while taking care of themselves and their loved ones. We will provide the opportunity for our CBSA team to work from home and connect via technology tools. We also will not host meetings in the CBSA office until further notice.
We are talking to leaders across our ecosystem and the broader Colorado business community about their response to COVID-19. We are proud to know employers are putting the health and wellness of their people first.
Additional COVID-19 resources are available from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. Additionally, information for life sciences companies can be found in the CBSA Business Resource Guide and the BIO Business Center.
If CBSA can assist you or your company during this time, please don’t hesitate to contact our President & CEO, Jennifer Jones Paton, directly.
