Congratulations to CBSA President and CEO Elyse Blazevich! The Denver Business Journal named Elyse to its prestigious 40 Under 40 List, released this week.
The DBJ names a class of 40 Under 40 each year to recognize influential Colorado professionals. The list identifies those who are movers-and-shakers in their careers and deeply involved in their communities.
Elyse leads CBSA’s work to create co-opportunity for Colorado’s life sciences community. Together with the CBSA Board of Directors, team, partners, sponsors, and members, she strategically advances CBSA’s efforts to build a collaborative environment for health innovation.
As President & CEO of CBSA, Elyse is working to achieve the goal of Colorado becoming a top five hub nationally for life sciences by:
- Building a stronger CBSA through the development of a five-year plan in partnership with our board, based on extensive feedback from our community.
- Supporting the needs of life sciences startups through the launch of the Colorado Life Sciences Incubation Program in partnership with Innosphere Ventures and Colorado BioScience Institute, and the expansion of the Advanced Industries Investment Tax Credit.
- Championing Colorado’s life sciences community through extensive speaking engagements and digital storytelling highlighting member success.
Advancing CBSA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion assessment to support CBSA and the life sciences community’s DEI needs.
Elyse and the other honorees will be recognized at a special awards reception in March and will be featured in a Denver Business Journal special section.
