Colorado BioScience Association Welcomes Community to Colorado Life Sciences Innovation Forum
Two-Day Event Includes Unveiling of 2020-2021 BioScience Colorado Magazine  

DENVER – Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) brings leaders from Colorado life sciences companies and organizations together this week for the highly anticipated Colorado Life Sciences Innovation Forum and Trade Show. The event features national and Colorado thought leaders highlighting the most pressing and relevant topics for Colorado’s health innovators.

The event, held on September 30 and October 1, includes the launch of the 2020-2021 BioScience Colorado Magazine, titled Stronger Together.

Jennifer Jones Paton, President & CEO of Colorado BioScience Association, says:

“This year’s magazine theme demonstrates how innovations from our state save and change lives around the world and highlights our community’s leadership role in the fight against COVID-19. It is an honor to launch our annual magazine as part of this year’s Colorado Life Sciences Innovation Forum, in an all-new, virtual format.”

The annual magazine highlights the breadth of health innovation underway in Colorado, from concept to commercialization. It also provides data and information on the economic impact of life sciences on Colorado’s economy, regulatory milestones and clinical assets, and grants and financings. The magazine includes a full directory of life sciences companies, organizations, academic and research institutions, ecosystem partners, and service providers.

The magazine also includes more information on several of the topics covered at the Colorado Life Sciences Innovation Forum, including Colorado’s leadership during COVID-19 and profiles of new CBSA members that chose Colorado. Two virtual half day sessions offer new opportunities to learn, network, and engage with the life sciences community, with sessions and speakers that include:  

  • Opening remarks by the Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis
  • Leaders on Colorado’s response to COVID-19
  • Companies new to our state discuss why they chose Colorado
  • An outlook on Colorado’s economy and recovery
  • Global leaders of BIO and Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies
  • Industry leaders on their companies’ priorities and efforts on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 
  • Pitches from three innovative Colorado life sciences companies
