Colorado BioScience Association Welcomes New Appointees to Board of Directors

Robin Harper Cowie of Biodesix, Inc. and Lyndsey Linke of SiVEC Biotechnologies, Inc. Represent the Momentum of State’s Life Sciences Community
Denver – Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA), which creates co-opportunity for Colorado’s life sciences community by championing a collaborative life sciences ecosystem and advocating for a supportive business climate, announced the appointment of two new board of directors members. Robin Harper Cowie, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Biodesix, Inc. and Lyndsey Linke, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of SiVEC Biotechnologies, Inc. were appointed to the CBSA Board of Directors at the annual board retreat on April 27.
Selected for their leadership in growing successful organizations with products designed to save and change patient lives around the world, the incoming board members are respected leaders in the state’s life sciences community.
Robin Harper Cowie, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Biodesix, Inc. (Boulder)
Offers broad expertise in corporate strategy and growth for a publicly traded diagnostics company. Her track record of success includes fundraising, M&A, reimbursement, operations, and compliance. Robin has raised capital through an IPO, public follow-ons, private financing, and debt offerings. Biodesix is a leading data-driven diagnostic solutions company focused on lung disease.
Lyndsey Linke, Ph.D., M.E., Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, SiVEC Biotechnologies, Inc. (Fort Collins)
Brings deep expertise in technology transfer, company formation, and successful fundraising. Lyndsey has secured significant state and federal grants and was honored as the Top Emerging Company at the 2022 BIO International Convention. SiVEC Biotechnologies spun out from Colorado State University in 2016. The company has developed a tissue-specific drug delivery platform to enable the next generation of nucleic acid and gene therapies and is developing first-in-class assets targeting respiratory, oncology, and genetic diseases.
