Colorado Vaccine Distribution Update

The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) confirmed to CBSA that members of our life sciences workforce involved in the research, development, manufacturing and distribution of prescription drugs, devices, and diagnostics will be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine as part of Phase 1B.4. If there are no additional changes to the state’s plan, this will be the next phase of vaccine distribution in Colorado.

You can find information about Colorado’s vaccine distribution phases here.

The state has developed a form for employers representing frontline essential workers to help connect them to a vaccine provider or make a vaccination plan for their employees.

The initial prioritization is for frontline food and agriculture and grocery workers (who are included in in Phase 1B.3), but CDPHE recommends other employers of frontline essential workers submit their vaccination support requests now.

The state started Phase 1B.3 on March 5, 2021. CBSA will provide additional updates as we receive new information and get closer to phase 1B.4.
