Fitzsimons Innovation Community is making progress on the buildout of their newest bioscience facility, for cell and gene therapy. With Fitzsimons Innovation Community and CU Anschutz Medical Campus in the background, you can see the footprint of Bioscience 5 taking shape. Things will accelerate quickly now, with an expected completion in the third quarter of this year.

Fitzsimons Innovation Community is already home to a number of cell and gene therapy companies, such as Taiga Biotechnologies, Atara Biotherapeutics, and InVitria. They are in discussions with new companies about the availability of Bioscience 5, design specifications, and company-related requirements. There is a high level of interest, even prior to the groundbreaking, and interest continues to rise now that companies know the project is real.
