Colorado BioScience Association to Honor Life Sciences Companies at 20th Annual Awards Celebration, Presented by AGC Biologics
Enliven Therapeutics, PharmaJet, and TriSalus Life Sciences Named as Company of the Year Finalists; Arpeggio Biosciences, Foresight Diagnostics, and Lazzaro Medical Selected as Rising Star of the Year Finalists
Denver – Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) today announced the finalists for two of its prestigious annual awards, Company of the Year and Rising Star of the Year, Sponsored by Willis Towers Watson. The awards honor established and emerging companies for notable achievements during the year. The winners will be revealed during the 20th Annual Awards Celebration, Presented by AGC Biologics, to be held at the Seawell Ballroom in the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on November 16.

Finalists: Company of the Year
Enliven Therapeutics – A clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of small molecule inhibitors to help patients with cancer live not only longer, but better.
PharmaJet – A commercial stage MedTech company bringing their needle-free injection systems to the world to enable greater access to life improving medicines and overcome challenges of vaccine and pharmaceutical delivery.
TriSalus Life Sciences – An oncology company integrating novel delivery technology with immunotherapy to transform treatment for patients with liver and pancreatic tumors.
Finalists: Rising Star of the Year, Sponsored by Willis Towers Watson
Arpeggio Biosciences – A company uniquely approaching drug discovery by using AI and next-gen RNA sequencing. The company applies high-throughput transcriptomics to match drugs to a disease based not just on a single target, but the biological network as a whole.
Foresight Diagnostics – A privately held cancer diagnostics company and CLIA-registered laboratory that has developed a novel liquid biopsy testing platform for the measurement of minimal residual disease (MRD) that is significantly more sensitive than existing tests.
Lazzaro Medical – A medical device platform developer with the world’s first minimally invasive robotic TBM repair surgery using the LM Scaffold System™ that restores healthy breathing for previously untreatable people.
In addition to Company of the Year and Rising Star of the Year Sponsored by Willis Towers Watson, CBSA will announce awards including: Business Partner of the Year, Educator of the Year Sponsored by Fisher Scientific, Institute Leadership Award, Building Momentum Award Sponsored by Fitzsimons Innovation Community, Legislators of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.
Keynote Speaker – Nick Santonastasso, Author, Global Speaker, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist
CBSA also welcomes an extraordinary speaker and mental health advocate to reconnect our life sciences community to our purpose-driven work of saving and changing lives during the 20th Annual Awards Celebration, Presented by AGC Biologics.
Nick Santonastasso has defied medical odds since his birth with a rare genetic condition, Hanhart Syndrome. He began inspiring people around the world with his story as a child, when he was featured on NBC’s TODAY Show at age 12. Today, he is an author, global speaker, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, who speaks with the Tony Robbins Foundation World Tour.

CBSA invites the life sciences community to register today to secure your ticket or table for the 20th Annual Awards Celebration, Presented by AGC Biologics on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Seawell Ballroom, Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Ticket prices are $300 for members and $325 for non-members. Tables of eight are $2,200.
Proceeds support Colorado BioScience Association’s work to build a pro-innovation environment for life sciences in Colorado.
