Weekly Policy Update: CBSA and LivaNova Partner to Host Senator Cory Gardner

This week CBSA partnered with LivaNova to host Senator Cory Gardner at LivaNova’s Arvada facility. The event included a brief meeting with the Senator and his staff, followed by a tour of the facility and an employee townhall. It was a great opportunity for CBSA to thank Senator Gardner for his leadership and support of the Colorado bioscience industry, as well as his commitment to increased research funding which is so critical to the ecosystem in Colorado. The CBSA team also spoke with the Senator about some of our top federal priorities, including permanent repeal of the medical device excise tax, which the Senator has strongly supported in the past.

We look forward to continuing to work with Senator Gardner on the issues that matter to our companies in Colorado.
