Weekly Policy Update: We Work For Health Summit—CBSA Urges Federal Lawmakers to Promote Medical Innovation and Protect Patient Access

This week CBSA vice president Emily Roberts joined other state advocates in Washington, DC for the We Work For Health Summit. During the two-day event, advocates met with their respective delegation to talk about our collective priorities to promote medical innovation and research and develop patient-friendly solutions to lower out-of-pocket costs and improve access. Given the sheer volume of federal health care proposals that have been introduced so far during the 116th Congress, it is a critical time to be on the hill sharing our perspective and helping our representatives understand how many of these proposals would impact bioscience companies in Colorado and the patients they serve.

We thank the entire Colorado delegation for their leadership and support of the bioscience industry and their commitment to ensuring that patients have access to the medicines they need.
