Colorado BioScience Association to Celebrate Leading Life Sciences Companies at Awards Celebration

LightDeck Diagnostics, Proov, and OnKure Named as Company of the Year Finalists; Artisan Bio, Enveda Biosciences, and Foresight Diagnostics Named Rising Star of the Year Finalists

DenverColorado BioScience Association (CBSA) today announced finalists for its two leading awards, Company of the Year and Rising Star of the Year, which recognize established and emerging companies that have achieved significant milestones during the last year. The winners will be announced during the Innovation Forward: Forum + Awards Celebration event, to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Denver on October 12.

Company of the Year Finalists

LightDeck Diagnostics: Reimaging diagnostic technology by developing simple, fast, laboratory-quality testing almost anywhere.

Proov: Empowering women with knowledge regarding their unique reproductive health, and how to have more control over their reproductive lives.

OnKure: Discovering and developing first-in-class and best-in-class Histone Deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors for the treatment of cancer.

Rising Star of the Year Finalists

Artisan Bio: Engineering the next generation of immune cell therapy to produce positive outcomes in patients.

Enveda Biosciences: Breaking through advancements by harnessing the machine learning, computational metabolomics, and knowledge graphs of small molecule therapeutics.

Foresight Diagnostics: Producing the world’s most sensitive liquid biopsy minimal residual disease (MRD) test that detects the earliest hints of cancer relapse.

CBSA’s Innovation Forward: Forum + Awards Celebration will be the largest gathering of Colorado’s life sciences community since early 2020. The event includes a forum and trade show, where national and state thought leaders will share innovations, success stories, and best practices through dynamic panel discussions and fireside chats. The awards celebration gives life sciences leaders the opportunity to toast the ecosystem’s perseverance and agility during the past year.

In addition to the Company of the Year and Rising Star awards, CBSA will also honor the Educator of the Year, Business Partner of the Year, Legislators of the Year, Deal of the Year, and present the Institute Leadership Award, Impact Award, and Chairman’s Award.

The event will also include a keynote address titled, “Embrace the Unexpected” by nationally recognized speaker and coach Corrine Hancock, panel discussions featuring leaders of recent high-profile life sciences deals and the innovators behind breakthroughs inspired by the pandemic, and a venture showcase that will feature three early-stage companies.

Event Details

The event will be held on Tuesday, October 12 at the Hyatt Regency Denver from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Early registration is $150 for CBSA members and $200 for nonmembers. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available.
